July 13 2012 - The Ceremony

After all the guests had arrived we got everyone together and got ready to get started. Since Alan officated June 23, we asked Cooper to run this show. And I will just say that I am so proud of him.

Karin and Ben walked first

Instead of flowers, we asked the line to say something about us.
Karin talked about how we used to run and slide on the sleeping bags at dad's house, and try to make it around the corner into my bed.
Ben talked about how Dave likes guns. :)

Trish and Casey both talked on how much they loved us and that we're like family.

Tazia brought Bandaids... because I always came to her aid, was the first to make fun of her when she cut her thumb open, and I'm the only child to get into 4 car accidents.

Anthony :) Said that Dave has always been a light in his dark place.

Mike and Ashley

Ashley talked on us being pen pals and how I really try to keep good relationships,
and Mike said that Dave is always surprising him, such as him being in the line.

Adam and Amanda.
Amanda commented on how even though we haven't been friends for long she knows that she can always count on me to be there for her.
Adam talked on how long he's known Dave and that he's truely happy to see us finally get hitched.

Our lovely Flower girls, Aspen (Neice) and Gabby (Daughter) in their awesome dresses that Gabby's mom made. Thank you Shannon!

Brad was our ring bearer, did an awesome job.

Dad and I walked down the aisle to Alyson Krauss "When you say nothing at all"

Cooper starting us off... Lots of awesome stuff was said.

My vows to Dave... he's everything I want.

Dave's vows to me, how some have seen him be good, some has seen him be bad, but how thankful he is that everyone is there to see him at his very best marrying his best friend.

I tied the rings on there pretty tight.

My ring. :) So thankful we got it on, my fingers were pretty swollen.

His ring (Took a minute his fingers were swollen too)

Kiss her already!!! :)

July 13 2012 - The wedding :) the set up

A more prefect day I can't imagine. It wasn't stressful. Friends and family got a long famously... sigh. Love it.

Started off with me gathering all my must have's and heading up to Karin's house. Got there and recieved a warm welcome from my Mordy's :). Karin did my hair and makeup, and since my dress did not fit at all (blaming on baby belly) Aunt Tammy bought me a beautiful white sun dress that worked perfectly.

Dave met us at Karin's after lunch and helped grab what was left and we headed up to the park in the truck. Kat, Kyle and Daniel were already there moving things around in the pavillion getting things set up. James and Haley were there with all their PA system stuff, and Cooper had just arrived. Amanda got there shortly after.

I was amazed with all that Amanda, Kat and Kyle did for the reception... It was amazing.

Pictures a gift from Preston, Flowers are from Kyle

All the food decorations are by Amanda, with the food from her, Kyle and Kat.

Chocolate fountain :) Made my day.

June 23 2012 - The Legalities

June 23rd ended up being an amazingly crazy wonderful day. Alan has been a bishop for years now, and I have always wanted him to be the one to officiate my marriage. Dave, though he's not mormon, agreed to it because he knew how much it meant to me. This made it really a wedding of only family and friends. No strangers. Well we got a call from Alan saying that he was going to be released as bishop on June 24th. With that, he would not be able to perform the wedding on July 13th. So after talking with Dave we decided to go crazy for a couple days and scramble to make something happen. Alan called up to the first presidency's office and tried to get permission to perform the ceremony on the 23rd. He called us back just a few days before to let us know that he had been given the go-ahead.

Now starts the crazy part. We called the parents and siblings and let them know we were going to have a small ceremony on June 23rd. My aunt Julie was amazing and let us use her back yard, which was extremely convienant. She lives only a few minutes away from us, so we could bring Butch with us :).

She went crazy and got a ton of cute things together for us at the last minute. Thankfully we got everyone there (Minus James and Curtis and Uncle Rob) and Cooper and Amanda were there to be by our sides :).

So June 23rd 2012 Dave and I officially became husband and wife. Still looking forward to July 13th, when we get to do the big ceremony with all our family and friends, but this was the day we got to say "I do". It was amazing.
My Amanda came to be with me :)

Dad walked me up :)
