Every so often it's healthy to look at yourself and take a gander. I have a habbit of doing that often.
The hard part for some is seeing what you need to improve on. Accepting that you may need to work on some things. Its hard to hear that feedback; but if you never hear it then how are you to work on it? There are a few people that come to mind when I think about this.
My hardest part is seeing what I am good at. It's a must to be able to look at yourself and be proud of what you have accomplished. If you don't then the whole experience will be for nothing and you'll never move forward.
I know that there is a lot I still need to work on. I have a list hanging in my cubical at work to help remind me of things that I need to be doing. They aren't just for work but for life in general. My job is anything but easy, but its rewarding. I actually got a really nice compliment today. As I passed by the corporate recruiter she gave me a hug and said that she had heard I was doing really well. :) Now that made me smile. I know I work my butt off and I'm loyal to my boss, and I know that he's happy with the job that I do for him. Its something else though when someone not even in your own department gives you a compliment like that.
I'm driven and I have a good work ethic, but sometimes it gets the better of me. I can get so caught up in everything that I get obsessed with it and its all I talk about. Which drives Dave crazy.
I need to learn to relax. Take a day and turn the phone off and just relax. Read, watch TV, sleep, cuddle with my amazing man, talk about stupid random things that mean nothing at all just to laugh. I need to learn to do that. Otherwise the stress will be overwhelming and I'll burn myself out. I know that I'm in danger of doing that quite often.
I have so much going on in my life it's crazy. I have my job, that I am so thankful to have. I love it and I enjoy working with the people that I do. I have an amazing family, Dave is amazing and the kids are so wonderful. Not to mention my extended family, with all my siblings and parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, they are all so supportive. I have the Bombers now, with Dave at my side I know that this will go amazing places. All the people involved are amazing and I'm so excited to see where they all go from here. I have my animals... my baby Bynx, my princess Star, and Butch... Gotta love that fat dog. He is so cool. Love him.
There are a lot of things that I could be.... but I'm pretty happy with me.

The Story of the Bombers....
So what has been taking up all of my time? Making me crazy? Driving me? My pride and joy? In December I was recruited by now good friend Mark Slater. He had an idea that everyone just loved. A group of models and entertainers that helped raise money for charity. How cool is that? Now when the idea was first presented to me the models were going to be lingerie models. I wasn't exactly that comfortable with that idea. Neither was Dave. Decision made. So I approached Mark and asked if there would be anything else that I could help with. Turns out that they did need someone to fill the gopher position, as the last person they had asked to leave due to some conflicts. So there I was. Didn't really have a purpose so I went in with the notion of helping whereever I could. My main concern: The model's happiness and safety.
Well, within a few weeks our "Manager" decided to opt out. It was a messy departure. With contracts involved and lawyers and threats... it was not a good site. All just a short time before our first show. We decided to continue forward with it and had to change the name and everything. Of course all this went down on a Friday night and I was at work. An emergency meeting was called and everyone still wanted to do this.
I got home that night and was telling Dave about what had happened and he hit me with a good question. "Was I serious about this?" I told him that ya I was. There were people counting on us to get things set up and figured out and we needed to be there for them. So Dave said, "Well if your going to do it then do it right." We set up to get the business started.
At this point, we've got the business registered with the State of Utah as Salt City Bombers Entertainment, LLP. DBA Bonneville Bombers. I've got it registered with the IRS and I just received our State Sales Tax License. Its pretty freaking exciting. Who knows where this will lead us?
One thing is for sure, we are taking it slow and steady and doing it all the right way. The biggest thing is making sure that we have the right people in the right roles and making sure that we're following all the rules.
Our first big charity event is coming up at the end of April. We'll have a booth at Earth Jam. Mark has got us a spot on TV on Channel 2 Tues morning the 8th. How exciting is that?! Its crazy.

Salt Lake City Tattoo Convention Feb 18th
My Miss Foo was tattooing at the Convention this year so I gave up my friday to go support her. There was some amazing artists there. A guy came over from Tokyo Japan. It was insane. There was pieces of actual art. Some of the artists brought theirs in print so you could buy them. There was clothing, purses, pretty much everything. Skate boards and even toliet seats that some artists had painted. I should have taken more pictures!!!
Nate from work came and got a tattoo, and Ariel, Mike, Jakki, and Cory came as well. Jakki got the itch and had to get one with me!
Even still, I got to be tattooed by my Foo and see and support her and that is what matters most. Love Her!!!

Burley Idaho and the Amazing Abrey Watterson!!!
Kellie Jean and I took us a trip up to Burley Idaho, where I had the most amazing time. Abrey Watterson is one amazingly talented photographer and I am so blessed to have been able to go and meet her. She let us stay in her home (very cute btw) her and her husband have such a cute and adorable home. It was an incredible experience.
Slacking!!! But needing to Breath!
Holy CRAP! So much has been happening lately I don't even know where to begin. I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to do much of anything but sleep. Well lets get you all updated.
Last I was talking about was Christmas/New Years. The kids had a blast. Dave and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversary on Jan 19th. Doesn't seem like its been that long, but it also feels like its been a lot longer. Ups and downs and I can say that I love that man more today than I ever had. I am so amazingly blessed to have him. He is everything that I could have ever asked for.
After that we had the Bomber's very first Fashion Show. That in itself was a huge event.... Seperate blog entry for that. But that is what has been keeping me so darn busy!!
One nice thing that has happened is that Dave was moved to being the night Admin for CBI. He works swings now. LOVE IT! We're finally on the same schedule. I actually get to see him now and its awesome. That very week I got moved to four tens monday through thursday. Ya I've yet to have a friday to relax. But I'm getting so much done!
Jan 30-31 was amazing! I went with Kellie up to Burley Idaho to meet the amazing Abrey Watterson. OMGosh she is amazing. We did a Posion Ivy photo shoot for me and a Rainbow bright photo shoot for Kellie. It was so much fun. More on that in another blog too.
The weekend of Feb 18-20 was an eventful one. I went that friday to the Tattoo convention oober fun. Got another tattoo, added to my stars to represent Trish. I miss her so so so so much.
March we are looking at Gabby's 9th birthday. I'm hoping to give her, her first friend party and go swimming. I'm looking forward to it :).

Christmas with the kids and New Years
New years eve I ended up working til midnight, my plan was to head to Bountiful and see the end of the amazing performance my Uncle's Band, Hot Reagan, was putting on at the Fifth. However those plans were slightly altered when Dave decided he wanted to go out. :) I'm all for it. He ended up going up to his Boss/friend's house and partying up there. So I drove up there to get him. I missed most of the fun but Cooper and Scarlett were there and to be honest it was awesome seeing them. It seriously has been forever. Since oh... August at Dave's camping birthday party. Ya long time. I drove them home and then went back to get Dave and we spent a couple hours just hanging out with Adam. It was really nice.
We got home pretty late, but we got to sleep in a little bit. Dave went to get the kids around noonish and when they got here they were imediately assulted with presents lol. We all sat down in the living room and opened their Christmas presents. They loved it. I think we did way good this year, nothing we got them was a double. :)
Gabby loved her Jewelery box, and all her barbie stuff. Poor girl had a sore throat though. I'm pretty positive her cousin got her sick. We're slowly becoming a pharmacy I swear.
Other than that though we spent the weekend being lazy and playing with toys and taking naps and eating food.
Brad was thrilled with his Batman cave, I helped him build it.
